Brit grew up in the Pacific Northwest in a small town on the coast. The forests, ocean, and nearby mountains, made for illustrious daydreams of far-off worlds. Aided, of course, by an immense love of reading.
She grew inspired by worlds and characters representing the light in dark places: the human grit shown through science fiction, dystopian, and apocalyptic worlds, and the beauty, strength, and grace found in companionship, brotherhood, and faith.
She hopes her stories will empower anyone who would break the cage imposed upon them by another. She champions the cycle-breakers, the black sheep, and those rebellious enough to not confuse compassion for weakness.
