BISHOP

Bishop died ending a ten-year war that nearly wiped out Humanity entirely. Or so, she and the rest of the galaxy believed. Thirty years later, she’s awakened to rumors the enemy has returned.

But Bishop is not what survivors imagined. She’s not a paragon, or even a true soldier. She’s a former convict and raider, whose sole claim to history is based not in heroism but in battlelust and sheer defiance. Her intensity is intimidating to all but the team sent to help her complete her mission.

Among them, stands the son of her former paramour, Ares. This shadow of her partner torments her as much as the villainous AI, which hounds their every step and has come to hunt her by name.

Bishop’s world is a decrepit ruin of Humanity’s former glory. Old friends are everything, and newcomers untested pups who stand little chance against the monstrous enemy and its Constructs. Bishop feels she’s the only one truly prepared for the brutality to come, but despite her contempt, she cannot face it alone. Shattering revelations aside, one thing remains unchanged: Bishop would rather die fighting than run.
